Context
Alianza Familiar is a community savings fund whose members relied on spreadsheets and messages to know the status of their contributions and loans. The goal was to give them their own clear app, available at any time.
My role
Built the application end to end: interface, loan logic, Firebase backend and web deployment.
Approach
- Flutter app for web and mobile, with member authentication on Firebase.
- Histories for contributions, general savings, scheduled savings, fixed-term deposits and receivables.
- Credit simulator and loan applications with per-product limits, revolving credit and guarantor loans.
- Admin panel with stats, filters and per-member detail.
- Push notifications, important announcements and direct WhatsApp contact.
- Load optimizations so the menu and sign-in stay responsive on slow connections.
Impact
- Members check their financial information without waiting on the board.
- Administrators manage members and requests from a single panel.
- Fewer errors and repeated questions compared to manual spreadsheet handling.
